The web is being read by something new.
For twenty-five years, the deal was simple: write good content, earn good links, and Google would send you traffic. Whole industries grew up inside that arrangement. SEO became a profession. Search became infrastructure.
Then, almost overnight, a new kind of reader showed up.
ChatGPT doesn’t want to send you traffic. It wants to cite you in an answer. Claude doesn’t crawl your sitemap; it reads your /llms.txt and asks for Markdown by content negotiation. Perplexity wants to know which sentence on your page best answers a specific question. The next wave — agents — won’t even read your homepage. They’ll look for /.well-known/agent-skills and decide if your site can do what they need.
The vocabulary of being found has changed. Most websites haven’t caught up.
We built AISEOLab because the existing SEO tools weren’t looking at any of this. They were still optimizing for keyword density and meta descriptions while LLMs were already deciding who gets quoted in the answers people read. The gap is going to get bigger before it gets smaller.
So here’s what we believe: the work of being visible to AI is technical and concrete. It’s not magic, it’s not prompt engineering, and it’s not throwing structured data at the wall. It’s a small, knowable set of files, headers, and signals that answer engines and agents look for — and we can check whether you have them in about thirty seconds.

Six rules. No exceptions.
Show, don’t guess.
Every score on every check has receipts — the URL we hit, the bytes we got, the bits we parsed. If we say something’s missing, we’ll show you exactly what we looked for and where.
Standards over hype.
We track real specs — llmstxt.org, RFC 9727, RFC 8414, the Model Context Protocol. We don’t invent metrics so you have to keep buying. If a check doesn’t map to a spec or a real bot’s behaviour, it doesn’t exist.
Free where it should be.
Auditing should be free. Generators and monitoring are where we earn money. We won’t paywall basic checks to manufacture upgrade pressure — that erodes trust and we play long games.
Fast or it doesn’t ship.
A scan completes in under thirty seconds. The dashboard renders before your finger leaves the trackpad. Slow software is broken software, and we treat performance as a feature, not a tuning task.
Your data is yours.
Export everything anytime, in JSON or CSV. Cancel and we delete it within thirty days — not archived, not soft-deleted, gone. We don’t sell aggregate data. We don’t need to.
Boring tech, on purpose.
Postgres, Stripe, Next.js, Tailwind, Vercel. We pick widely-used tools so the platform stays cheap to run and easy to hire for. Your subscription doesn’t fund our infrastructure experiments.
